OLLI

Curiosity Never Retires.
Northwestern University's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) is a vibrant member-driven learning community that generates an exciting and intellectually challenging curriculum of nearly 100 study groups per semester which are offered on the Evanston and Chicago campuses and virtually. OLLI serves over 1,100 seasoned learners (age 50+) from all walks of life who pursue learning for pure pleasure: there are no tests and no grades.

A Study Group Approach.
OLLI study groups are small, two-hour, seminar-style discussions that meet weekly. Study groups are proposed, designed, and facilitated by fellow members and cover a wide range of topics including history and government, literature, civic engagement, contemporary issues, creative arts, science, and technology.
Are you eager to learn and actively participate alongside other engaged individuals? Are you driven to learn for the sheer joy of it, without the pressure of tests or grades?
