Webinar: Practicing Critical and Creative Thinking with Children

Date: 5/7/2024
Time: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM CDT
Location: Virtual (Zoom)

About this Alumni Education Webinar

Thinking routines and higher-level questioning are crucial to developing critical and creative thinking skills. The good news is that children (and adults!) love inquiry. But even as an adult, you may need guidance about what constitutes higher-level questioning, how to incorporate thinking routines into the fun of family-centered activities, and why it’s important to make time for them. Join Susan Corwith, director of Northwestern’s Center for Talent Development, for a discussion of these topics and a few simple strategies you can use with your child.

RSVP by Monday, May 6, using the button above. You may request a disability accommodation upon registration. This event will be held via the Zoom webinar platform, and registrants will receive a link to the event 24 hours in advance.
