About this Presentation

The Northwestern Alumni Association (NAA) invites members of Northwestern's international student community to join alumni panelists and special guests for the 2024 NAA International Student Panel.

Learn from former international students how to navigate your own career path and how the NAA and the Northwestern network of more than 260,000 alumni can offer support as you strive towards reaching your personal and professional goals.

During the panel, you will:

•            Gain valuable contacts for NAA Alumni Clubs worldwide
•            Learn more about career and mentoring tools and programs offered through the NAA

Sarah Norman '26, International Student Association


 Hi! My name is Sarah Norman, and I am an international student from the Philippines. I am half Filipina, half Australian and was born in Malaysia. I am also a 2nd year student studying international studies and social policy. I’m interested in pursuing a career related to international relations/law. In my free time I love hanging out with my friends and exploring downtown Evanston.

 

Shravan Srinvasan '24, Graduate International Student Association


Shravan has years of experience in AI while working at multinational companies and consulted for the 4th largest bank in the world. Shravan is passionate towards building products which would be sustainable and beneficial towards the society. He is currently pursuing his Master’s in AI at Northwestern. Off-work, Shravan is a part-time standup comic and a dramatist who enjoys performing on stage.

Alumni Panelists

Audrey Chen '07


A graduate of the Northwestern University Class of 2007 (School of Communication), Audrey Chen is a seasoned Marketing and Communications professional with more than fifteen years of experience under her belt. She believes in finding creative and strategic solutions to bring implementable ideas to life. 

 Audrey currently leads regional marketing and communications initiatives in APAC as well as events in APAC and EMEA for Talos, a B2B unicorn fintech company that empowers institutional trading of digital assets. 

She has spent time in the US, London, and Singapore. In her personal time, she volunteers with Northwestern University, invests, and plans her next trip. Audrey is on the board of the NU-Kellogg Alumni Club of Singapore, and the Co-Director of the Alumni Admission Council (Singapore). 


Mohammed Owais Nasir '03 '07

Mohammed came to the U.S. from Pakistan in 1999, and after spending a year in Indianapolis, transferred to Northwestern where he attained his Bachelor’s (Computer Science, McCormick, 2003) and Master’s (MEM, McCormick, 2007) degrees. Currently, he is working as a Vice President of Data Platforms & Engineering at Dun and Bradstreet, where he leads Data and Cloud Engineering, Architecture, SRE and Program Delivery teams. Prior to D&B he had led the implementation of Aon’s Enterprise Analytics Platform, among several roles he held during his 19 years including two summer internships.

He also volunteers as an Outreach Relationship Manager at Sacred Learning and enjoys sharing from his experience whenever the opportunity arises and has participated multiple times in the Alumni mentorship program. He is based in the Chicago area where he resides with his wife and two children.

Leticia Elizondo Cabrera '20 LLM


A graduate from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law Class of 2020 (Chicago, Illinois) Master in Law LL.M., at “Business Law”. Leticia is a lawyer with more than ten years of practice in M&A, financial, corporate law and cross-border transactions. 

She has worked at Fibra Educa as an In-house Lawyer, at Galicia Abogados, S.C. as an Associate Lawyer; and as a Legal Intern at Notary 105, Lic. Conrado Zuckermann. 

Leticia is a partner of a Boutique Law Firm in Mexico City, specialized in Banking & Finance, and is the current President of the Northwestern-Kellogg Club of Mexico.  

She loves to run, in which she has managed to rise to a high level, expecting to run the Marathon of Chicago this year. Her other true passions in life are travelling around the world, learning about new cultures, and spending time with her family.
