Dear West Michigan Northwestern Alumni and Friends: 

Have you attended a local NU Alumni Club event lately? We’re having a lot of fun and we want to make sure that you’re a part of it. That’s why we’re sending you this membership dues request for your NU Club of West Michigan. We had several great events last year and we’re looking forward to even more enjoyment this year.

Here’s an overview of our 2007-2008 club calendar: 

August: New student luncheon to welcome West Michigan students to NU

October 6: NU vs. Michigan State in East Lansing and tailgate (visit the web at https://www.nwuconnection.com/default.aspx?Page=EVNTEventDetail&EventID=738 for information and to sign up; game tickets may sell out very soon)

October 11: Third Annual Tasting Event - Pairing Foods and Desserts with Sparkling and Sweet Wines. – Arts Council – 6:30 – 8:30 pm

December: 8:  Annual Holiday Party at the home of Susan and Bill Jones (251 Plymouth SE) – details to come soon

Spring 2008: Faculty Speaker visit from Evanston

We are only as strong as our members. We’re always looking for new ideas and new board members, too. Your membership dues keep our special community growing as we sponsor events that connect alumni, young and old, with each other and back to Northwestern. We really hope that YOU will be part of the NU Club of West Michigan this year. And if you would like to get more involved, drop me an e-mail.
