Students Eager to Learn Dining Etiquette

An evening of etiquette training brought 200 students together for the Spring Etiquette Banquet on Thursday, April 17th.  Jill Bremer, owner of Bremer Communications in Oak Park, Illinois taught students the ins and outs of business and dining etiquette over a four-course meal in the Louis Room at Norris University Center.

Upon arrival, students were given the task of setting their table which proved harder than it looked!  The audience interaction didn’t end there – Jill’s presentation covered a wide range of topics including the proper way to eat tricky dinner items such as soup and cherry tomatoes.  Students had the opportunity to ask many questions and received tips on business networking etiquette and communications etiquette in addition to valuable dining etiquette tips.

The annual event is hosted in partnership between the Northwestern Class Alliance and the Northwestern Alumni Association.
