Opening Lecture:
Capturing Campus: Photographing the Student Experience

Deering Library

Since the turn of the 20th century, student photographers have been capturing the breadth of the Northwestern experience. Whether it's painting the rock or hunkering down in the library during finals, the story of campus life reaches us almost entirely through their lenses. University Archivist Kevin Leonard ’77, ’82 MA shows the history of the student experience at Northwestern as told through photographs found in our archives. A reception will be held at 6:30 p.m., followed by the lecture at 7:30 p.m.
