The mission of LANU, Latino Alumni of Northwestern University, is to establish and nurture relationships among Latino alumni and students, thereby fostering personal success and enriching the Latino community.

We will build a sense of community among Latino students by supporting Northwestern’s student recruitment, retention, and return to the University as alumni.

We will build a sense of community among Latino alumni by encouraging their participation in the life of the University.

We will promote Latino cultural awareness and sensitivity within the Northwestern community through programming events and our own visibility.

We will establish and facilitate a relationship between Latino Alumni, students and the Northwestern Administration through participation in the NU Alumni Association and adopting an advisory role for students.
