Alumni and Friends Applaud The Boys Are Coming HomeOn Thursday, August 3, a crowd of nearly 100 alumni and friends gathered for an early look at The Boys Are Coming Home, a new musical with music and lyrics by Leslie Arden and book by Berni Stapleton.
Deft stage direction by Gary Griffin and snappy choreography by Timothy French kept this tuneful modern retelling of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing on its toes from start to finish.
After the performance, the creative team and members of the cast spoke with alumni about the joys (and terrors) of performing a show that continues to evolve.
The Boys Are Coming Home was presented by the American Music Theatre Project, the Department of Theatre, and the Theatre and Interpretation Center.
