• NU Club of Colorado - Annual New York Philharmonic
  Thank you to all who attended our event in Vail. The annual outing was an exhilarating concert featuring the New York Philharmonic at the beautiful Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater on Saturday, July 22. Marin Alsop, former Colorado Symphony Orchestra music director, conducted Tchaikovsky’s Romeo & Juliet, Prokofiev’s Concerto No. 1 in D Major for Violin and Orchestra, and Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5 in D Minor. The evening began with a reception at Manor Vail featuring NY Phil trumpeter Matt Mackey who is an NU alum from 2006.
