Club Workshops Reach More Leaders in First Year (read the story)
Club Workshops 2006
In 2006, Northwestern clubs around the country participated in Club Workshops. Jeff Velis, Director of Clubs, and Mark Manderino, Assistant Director, traveled to twenty cities over the course of the 2006 school year to facilitate volunteer training on a local level.
Workshops covered a variety of subjects from web resources to event planning. Clubs had the opportunity to choose from a slate of sessions those that will most benefit their regions.
NAA has seen evidence that this results in invigorated volunteers with in-depth knowledge of all resources available when planning for the needs of their club.
