NU Club of Albuquerque
What are we about?
You! Your interests in the University, and what is happening locally. We hope to provide an avenue for meeting others of likemindedness.
We welcome high school students interested in attending Northwestern and recent graduates of Northwestern to contact us for information and to join our club.
How often do we meet?
We usually have a fall New Student Barbecue to meet new or returning students and parents and a spring luncheon with a Northwestern speaker. In the fall, there are football parties at a local sports bar. In the winter, we might attend a play or concert and have dinner later.
Are there dues?
Dues are primarily collected to help with seed money projects, scholarships, etc. Single dues at $15/year, couple or family dues ar $25/year. Not everyone who attends our functions is a dues-paying member.

RECENT EVENTS
We have had a busy year so far with more to come. On March 1, we had our annual Symphony night, with a great concert and a lovely dinner to follow. On June 22, we joined other Big 10 alums for an Isotopes game. Lots of fun, even though the Isotopes lost!
UPCOMING EVENTS
Our next big event is the New Students Party. It will be held at the home of Jan Harrington on Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. Please plan to attend. RSVP to Jan at 505-833-7579 or email j12654-nu@spamarrest.com. At that time we will also plan fall and winter activities.
