What are we about?

You! Your interests in the University, and what is happening locally. We hope to provide an avenue for meeting others of likemindedness.

We welcome high school students interested in attending Northwestern and recent graduates of Northwestern to contact us for information and to join our club.

How often do we meet?

We usually have a fall New Student Barbecue to meet new or returning students and parents and a spring luncheon with a Northwestern speaker. In the fall, there are football parties at a local sports bar. In the winter, we might attend a play or concert and have dinner later.

Are there dues?

Dues are primarily collected to help with seed money projects, scholarships, etc. Single dues at $15/year, couple or family dues ar $25/year. Not everyone who attends our functions is a dues-paying member.

The New Student BBQ was held Aug 10 at 6:30 at the home of the Philbins, 9609 Pebble Beach NE.
Students and family were guests. We awarded the second annual scholarship, the Ralph C Friedenberg award that evening to Connor White, an incoming student.

Upcoming events

In March, we are offering a symphony concert and then a potluck at the home of Kurt Civilette and his partner. We will require reservations for the symphony. Depending upon numbers, we may be able to get group rates.
