Budget Request Process, FY 2008-09
Information for alumni constituent groups, committees, student groups, and other parties seeking funding from the NAA. Student group requests are considered three times during the year, while other requests are considered annually based on the timeline below.

Budget Request TimelineFebruary 29, 2008
All club/committee/constituent group budget requests in to Scot Marcotte. To submit a budget request, please complete the Budget Request Form ( click here to download in PDF format). Completed copies can be emailed. If you have questions about completing this form, contact Scot Marcotte at (312) 846-3420.
March 21, 2008
Draft of the FY2008-09 budget shared and reviewed with the Executive Committee. Budget Requests will be reviewed, but not decided, during the planning phase.
April 21, 2008
NAA Board reviews and approves the FY2008-09 year budget.
May 2008
Executive Committee reviews annual budget requests. Committee members may seek additional information from those requesting funding.
June 27, 2008
Deadline for Fall student group budget requests.
July 2008
Executive Committee makes initial decisions on annual and Fall student group budget requests.
By August 1, 2008
Those submitting Fall student group or annual budget requests are notified of their status.
September 5, 2008
Changes to the FY2008-09 budget are presented to the full NAA Board for approval.
November 28, 2008
Deadline for Winter student group budget requests.
December 2008
Executive Committee makes decisions on Winter student group budget requests.
By December 15, 2008
Those submitting Winter student group budget requests are notified of their status.
February 27, 2009
Deadline for Spring student group budget requests.
March 2009
Executive Committee makes decisions on Spring student group budget requests.
By March 16, 2009
Those submitting Spring student group budget requests are notified of their status.
